One of the few times a Port Ellen hits too simply… This bottle being a little too young gave a rather simple palate. It’s not undesirable per se, it’s more of a disconnect from the usual flavours that I associate with Port Ellen. This being one-dimensionally peated makes it a rather conventional drink.
