Looking to drink Bunnahabhain whisky in Singapore? This sample of Bunnahabhain 23 Years Old 1998 49.7% Feis Ile 2022 Calvados Cask Finish was sampled during a private Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) event at The Single Cask located at 30 Victoria Street Caldwell House, CHIJMES, #01-25, 187996.

What does Bunnahabhain whisky taste like? This Bunnahabhain 23 Years Old 1998 49.7% Feis Ile 2022 Calvados Cask Finish tastes like:

Nose: intense sulphur, dried Chinese mushrooms

Palate: joss sticks and incense paper, thin palate, lightly tannic and vinegar sour,

What do we think of this bottle of Bunnahabhain whisky?

The nose is wild; cask finishes may come with such unexpected influences on the profile, but boy did this one completely make a mess, a messy funky mess, out of this. Interesting on the palate nonetheless but this is an experience I would appreciate once and never again.

Where can you get Bunnahabhain whisky by the glass in Singapore?

You can drink Bunnahabhain whisky by the dram from The Swan Song, there are interesting old and new independent bottlings like That Boutique-y Whisky Company Bunnahabhain Batch 3 33 Year Old and The Whisky Blues Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2013 8 Year Old.
