Review – The Whisky Blues Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2013 8 Year Old

Looking to drink Bunnahabhain whisky in Singapore? This sample of The Whisky Blues Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2013 8 Year Old  was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

What does Bunnahabhain whisky taste like? This The Whisky Blues Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2013 8 Year Old tastes like:

Nose: burned seaweed peat, a spicy grassy sweetness

Palate: sweet applish and citrusy ash peat

What do we think of this bottle of Bunnahabhain whisky?

While its pretty simple and basic, at least its not abrasive as one would normally expect from younger bottlings. Bravo.

Where can you get Bunnahabhain whisky by the glass in Singapore?

You can drink Bunnahabhain whisky by the dram from The Swan Song, there are interesting old and new independent bottlings like That Boutique-y Whisky Company Bunnahabhain Batch 3 33 Year Old and The Whisky Blues Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2013 8 Year Old as pictured above.

Particular Staoisha peatiness, very much a coastal grassy saltiness/seaweed touch, although the palate came quite amazingly with fruity notes that balance pretty well with the peat.
