Review – Singleton of Glen Ord 12 Early 2000s to 2010s Bottling

Looking to drink Glen Ord whisky in Singapore? This sample of Singleton of Glen Ord 12 Early 2000s to 2010s Bottling was sampled at Get Some at Guillemard located at 100 Guillemard Rd, #01-01, Singapore 399718. This was a Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) event hosted by Brandon from Nanyang Whisky, a local independent bottler. Let us do our best to support local small FnB businesses as well!

Nose: earthy water, spicy, drainage

Palate: raisins, walnuts, sweet earthy groundwater

We forgot to check the back label for this, so WhiskyBase has provided 2 possibilities on what this bottling could: either a 2006 bottling or a 2015 bottling for the Taiwanese market. Still, we find this characteristically Glen Ord with a good touch of nuttiness and sherry influence. Definitely a solid dram.
