What do we think of this bottle of Port Ellen whisky?
This was the first release of Port Ellen that I wanted to try very much at The Malt Affair, and had the opportunity to try it when I came to Japan. This bottle was at great value, and comes with the typical mushroom-umami peat that some Port Ellens are characteristic of. On the palate, powerful fruits that hit a lot in a complex mouth.
