Looking to drink Port Charlotte whisky in Singapore? This sample of Port Charlotte 2002 12 Year Old bottled for Royal Mile Whiskies was sampled during a private Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) event at The Single Cask located at 30 Victoria Street Caldwell House, CHIJMES, #01-25, 187996.
Nose: creamy and spicy
Palate: old whisky notes, nice and sweet, balanced peat that is interspersed among the light fruitiness
Abit of an underwhelming nose and in notes that were not typical of PC. However, palate was quite surprising, definitely not the typical metallic/barbequed PC peat notes, in fact, for a low proof PC, this one was exceptionally fruity with well balanced peat.
