Review – Loch Lomond Croftengea 2007 12 Year Old Cask No. 209

Looking to drink Loch Lomond/Croftengea whisky in Singapore? This sample of Loch Lomond Croftengea 2007 12 Year Old Cask No. 209 was sampled during a private Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) event at The Single Cask located at 30 Victoria Street Caldwell House, CHIJMES, #01-25, 187996.

Nose: peppery

Palate: nice delicious cereal and chocolatey

I’m very certain my nose was shot during this or I accidentally nosed too hard, but insanely spicy and peppery on the nose. However, palate was delicious; we’re not talking like the SMWS Allt-a-bhaine Plunge into a Chocolate Sponge or new-make kind of chocolatey, but well defined delicious sweet wheat and dark chocolate notes. Definitely better on the palate.
