Review – Old Pulteney 1967 13 Year Old by Cadenhead

Looking to drink Old Pulteney whisky in Singapore? This final sample of Old Pulteney 1967 13 Year Old by Cadenhead was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. Other bottles of Old Pulteney are available by the dram at The Swan Song

Note: Arun indicated that the bottle was not in the best condition at the time of tasting, so tasting notes may not be reflective of the true taste potential of the drink.

Nose: old, thin sweet fruit, mostly light thin apple juice, hint of medicinal herb, vanilla and cognac grape

Palate: light, papery, celery, lightly peppery spice, extremely thin grape

Very much different from the more modern Old Pulteneys that I have tried from Carn Mor, which were a lot sweeter in an ex-bourbon way. However, still very much a delightful dram.
