Looking to drink Blair Athol whisky in Singapore? This dram of Blair Athol 8 Year Old Distillery Bottling, bottled in estimated 1980s, was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. This was a personal miniature bottle that I had obtained from auction. Other Blair Athol bottlings are available by the dram at The Swan Song.
Nose: well honeyed, thin but strong candied apples
Palate: light and thin, sweet and oaky, hidden fruit layers of hi-chew grape, very saliva provoking
Contrary to the more modern Blair Athols, this one has a similar full body and salivating effect while being far and distinct from the typically stronger honeyed flavours, instead showing more a more fruity side of things.
