Review – Laphroaig 18-year-old, bottled in 2009

Looking to drink Laphroaig whisky in Singapore? This dram of Laphroaig 18-year-old, bottled in 2009 was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. Many other Laphroaig bottlings are available by the dram at The Swan Song.

Nose: tangerine, chilli padi, peat, light thin malt

Palate: light thin body, hiding sour fruits, mango, strong brunt paper peat with waves of grassy vegetal peat

An incredibly flavourful and well developed peat, with many different strands of flavours playing around. Keeps to the classic Laphroaig character, old and new, but with very exploratory new flavours uncomon to their range.
