Review – The Singleton of Auchroisk 10 Years Old

Looking to drink Auchroisk whisky in Singapore? This dram of Singleton of Auchroisk 10 Years old, estimated to be bottled in the 1990s was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. This bottle is available under the Nakama Spirits portfolio for paid private tasting.

Nose:  thin, metallic, light and floral, apples

Palate: light, spicy fruity apple with a little malty finish

As one of Singapore’s biggest glazers for Singleton, this heritage piece was obtained from auction. Definitely different from other Auchroisk bottlings that I have have tried, due to the much lower proof. However, this palate strongly reminds me of a more refined Johnnie Walker Blue Label, with a touch of the old whisky palate.
