Review – Barbeito Medium Sweet 3 Year Old Madeira sherry wine

Nose: pungent cherry tart

Palate: mellow, chewy sweet cherry

Very cherry but not quite as cherry as Frederiksdal cherry wine. The sweetness of the madeira is quite unique, it almost inspires a little sickliness. However, still very much enjoyable for those with palates craving a slightly more complex sweetness.
