Review – Cadenhead’s An Islay Distillery 2007 14 Year Old Warehouse Tasting Bottling

Looking to drink Lagavulin whisky in Singapore? This sample of Cadenhead’s An Islay Distillery 2007 14 Year Old Warehouse Tasting Bottling was sampled during a private Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) event at The Single Cask located at 30 Victoria Street Caldwell House, CHIJMES, #01-25, 187996. I have it on good word that the distillery for this bottling is Lagavulin.

Nose: light peppery spicy

Palate: well defined oloroso with neat roasted peat

A somewhat imbalanced peated sherried Lagavulin that shows dominant notes of both peat and oloroso sherry, hitting at alternating one-twos.
