Looking to drink Caol Ila whisky in Singapore? This sample of 002: Caol Ila 2008, 13 Years, 55.4%, Signatory Vintage bottled by Malt Grain Cane was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. Nose: sweet and grassy with a light peppery note
Palate: well toned sweet and grassy peat
A classic flavour, but at an intensity that is far and above that is normally expected. Caol Ila is slowly picking up on my list of enjoyable peated whiskies by virtue of how sweet they tend to be. Of course, in terms of complexity, I do prefer Ledaig.
