Review – R. W. Duthie & Co. Imperial 1963 Narsai’s Restaurant & Corti Brothers – Pellegrini Import

Looking to drink Imperial whisky in Singapore? This sample of R. W. Duthie & Co. Imperial 1963 Narsai’s Restaurant & Corti Brothers – Pellegrini Import was drunk at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: old school distillate, rich tantalizing fresh apple juice, sugary slick zesty maple syrup

Palate: prominent lemons, sourish without being too intense while carrying the essence of the citrus fruits, mangoes and green apples in bouts, lightly dry with a touch of alkaline

A beautiful Imperial that holds itself extremely well at 92 proof. An incredibly authentic, rich fruity profile that is absolutely characteristic of Imperial whiskies, such as our previously reviewed Imperial 1990 30 Year Old by Elixir Distillers and Gordon and MacPhail Imperial Reserve 1995.
