Review – Little Brown Dog Spirits Glen Elgin 2009 Sauternes Cask Finish

Looking to drink Glen Elgin whisky in Singapore? This dram of Little Brown Dog Spirits Glen Elgin 2009 Sauternes Cask Finish was drank at The Single Cask located at 30 Victoria Street Caldwell House, CHIJMES, #01-25, 187996.

Nose: creamy farmy, soft thin sugary muscat peel, sweet jasmine green tea leaves

Palate: textured and powdery crumbly, well fleshed out white grapes, lil bit of bready malt, pleasant sours, a literal grittiness to it

This may have been the most textured dram of whisky I had drunk till date! Very pleasant, the sauternes influence on the spirit was quite present.
