Nose: roasted vegetal fossil peat, but of pepper spice
Palate: deeply grassy sweet, strong vegetal notes
Wow! Fantastically peated, strong vegetal notes is quite possibly the best descriptor for this! There was certainly a Bunnahabhain that was very similar to that, a Hidden Spirits Bunnahabhain, but very much a great contrast compared to the other Kilkerren I’ve reviewed!
