Review – Holy Distillery Salvation Cask #7

Looking to drink Holy Distillery whisky in Singapore? This sample of Holy Distillery Salvation Cask #7 was sampled during a private Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) event at The Single Cask located at 30 Victoria Street Caldwell House, CHIJMES, #01-25, 187996. No, I DID NOT want to type “drink Holy whisky in Singapore” LOL.

Nose: sharp, minty, bready, winter melon, sancha,

Palate: minty, melony, grapey presence and a strong sweet sancha melon palate

Bro this was such a rummy whisky; the presence of sancha or haw sugar flakes was very strong. Aside from that, a green melon or rockfruit taste was floating around, making it a surprisingly fruity whisky. The mint was an interesting touch of spiciness that was not too disruptive.
