Review – Chorlton Whisky Longmorn 2002 18 Year Old

Looking to drink Longmorn whisky in Singapore? This glass of Chorlton Whisky Longmorn 2002 18 Year Old was sampled during my visits to the now-closed Samsu Huay Kuan, located at 100 Orchard Rd, #02-33 Concorde Hotel & Shopping Mall, Singapore 238840. Do check out the listings on INTERCO-MLE for if you are interested in some of the bottles that were at Samsu!

What does Longmorn whisky taste like? This Chorlton Whisky Longmorn 2002 18 Year Old bottling tastes like:

Nose: sugary pear, orange and lemon peel, hint of rugged bitters but mostly toned fruity citric sweetness

Palate: fruity apples and sugary pears, slow sweet plasticky pear finish

What do we think of this bottle of Longmorn whisky?

A very, very good Longmorn. Not particularly classic, with interesting bitter notes, but it does come with very potent fruity Longmorn notes.

Where can you get Longmorn whisky by the glass in Singapore?

You can buy Longmorn whisky by the dram from The Swan Song, there are many rare and vintage bottlings but also independent bottlings like the Highlander Inn Maggie’s Collection Longmorn 11 Years Old 2011 57.2%.
