Nose: waxy fruit skin and hazy, chalky
Palate: winey with light sulphites, young grapes with a mellow, moderate body, lightly sweet
Damn honestly a whale of difference compared to the other Mortlach expressions I had, such as the Diageo Special Release 2021 Mortlach 13y. While I can’t say for certain it is splendid, I do think it is far more pleasantly fruity and well expressed. Young, but defined.
