Review – Springbank 18 Years Old 1997 Bottled for the Springbank Society Members

Looking to drink Springbank whisky in Singapore? This sample of Springbank 18 Years Old 1997 Bottled for the Springbank Society Members was drunk at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. It is available while stocks last!

Nose: farmy, hay, grassy, an odd nuttiness, ammonium

Palate: juicy and rich, sweet pineapples, tangy grapy hanging around coating the overall palate, a wonderful fruity blend of flavours, long dry but fruity finish

Accordingly, it was gamble with this bottle, a shot in the dark (not literally). We were glad the bottled proved to be quite splendid, wonderfully fruity, with not just the impact of the sherry finish but also the distillates innate fruity and lightly funky notes. The nose is quite a ways away, being more funky than the palate, but nonetheless making it a pleasant and enjoyable whisky drinking experience.
