Overall, a pleasant older style Tomatin. Independent Tomatins have really stood out compared to the standard distillery bottlings so far, especially compared to the particularly potently sulphitey Tomatin 16 Years Old Moscatel Cask. This one hits with nice old school fruity notes that you would want to find in a classic 80s pure malt, but with a more potent body given that it is at cask strength.
