Looking to drink Nikka whisky in Singapore? This sample of Old Nikka Super, est. 1980s-1990s was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. This was a personal bottle of mine that I got from auction.
Nose: Old bottle effect (OBE) with some light sugared pears
Palate: light and soft, soapy detergent suds, dry and bitter tea leaves, and sour and bitter orange peel
Tasted very flat, but otherwise the detergents alkalinity compared to the sour orange peel pith made it an interesting, although not particularly enjoyable, sample.
