Review – Monnier Trading Mortlach 1974 Kreuzritter Collection 50.8%

Looking to drink Mortlach whisky in Singapore? This sample of Monnier Trading Mortlach 1974 Kreuzritter Collection 50.8% was drunk at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: sweet juicy, fleshy thick mangoes and pineapples, delicious apples

Palate: potent soursops and  pineapples, and juicy sweet ripe apples, a touch of char siew bao meatiness and savouriness on the finish

Now this is peak vintage Mortlach whisky at its finest, this is the fruitiness that is super characteristic of Mortlach without the obnoxious spice or alcohol burniness that comes with the younger, more immature modern distillates.
