Review – Master of Malt Ardbeg 1993 18 Years Old

Looking to drink Ardbeg whisky in Singapore? This sample of Master of Malt Ardbeg 1993 18 Years Old was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: a savoury and sweet creamy vanilla, pale green vegetal spice with a touch of coastal salt and brine, almost like braised vegetables with white pepper

Palate: medium bodied, balanced grassy sweetness against a backdrop of vegetal peat and mildly old wax background

I had the most interesting description for this and I perhaps blame the fact that it’s probably because I am Chinese. Very much like a classic braised Chinese meat dish.
