What does Cambus whisky taste like? This Douglas Laing Cambus 35 Years Old Single Grain Whisky 51.5% Old Particular bottling tastes like:
Nose: funky fruity paint thinner, papayas, raw fish scales, metallic grain
Palate: briney papaya and orange peel, sweet paint thinner, metallic grain translated well, shaved coconuts, touch of chinese medicine roots and fierce haw sugar
What do we think of this bottle of Cambus whisky?
Cambus is a distillery that has eluded me since WhiskyLive 2023, where I tried it under the Macbeth collection by Elixir Distillers but did not take any notes. This Cambus was quite a show stunner, with a diverse number of fresh flavours that just violated my nose and palate.
Where can you get Cambus whisky by the glass in Singapore?
You can buy Cambus whisky by the dram from online retailers in Singapore, The Swan Song may potentially stock vintage Cambus bottles in the future..
