Review – Convalmore 24 Years Old 1978 59.4% Rare Malts Selection

Drink Convalmore whisky in Malaysia

Looking to drink Convalmore whisky in Singapore? This sample of Convalmore 24 Years Old 1978 59.4% Rare Malts Selection was drunk during the inaugural Whisky Lah! whisky festival held at The Gasket Alley located at Lot 15, Jalan 13/6, Section 13, 46200, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia on 7 September 2024.

What does Convalmore whisky taste like? This Convalmore 24 Years Old 1978 59.4% Rare Malts Selection bottling tastes like:

Nose: light sweet honey nectar

Palate: waxy, thick rich honeysuckle on part with 70s Clynelish

What do we think of this bottle of Convalmore whisky?

This was quite possibly the most sought after bottle at Whisky Lah! (At least, to my group of friends and I) A most fantastic vintage Convalmore, with a profile that while simple in written form, can only be described as an explosion of flavour and an gummy experience for the tongue. This was a sensational bottling!

Where can you get Convalmore whisky by the glass in Singapore?

You can buy Convalmore whisky by the dram from The Swan Song, such as the Cadenhead Convalmore-Glenlivet 17 Years Old 1977 65.3%.
