Review – Cadenhead Balmenach-Glenlivet 1981 12 Years Old

Looking to drink Blamenach whisky in Singapore? This dram of Cadenhead Balmenach-Glenlivet 1981 12 Years Old was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: steak, leeks, and soy sauce saltiness, and a kind of plasticky varnishness

Palate: moderate bodied with a distinct grainy, wood dust texture, warm and wild honey with a fair alcoholic burniness, with a good touch of balsamic vinegar sourishness

Quite an interesting presentation on saltiness; it hit on the first sip, and then developed as it went on.
