Review – Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch No. 5

Looking to drink Balvenie whisky in Singapore? This sample of Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch No.5 was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. A friend and regular of ours kindly provided this sample for trying.

Nose: sweet, woody honey with wild, rawer sweetness

Palate: manuka honey with oaky sweetness playing together

A true old-style honeyish profile this is similar to the old Balvenie Founders Reserve, very pleasant and carried much more well due to the cask strength body.
