Review – Scotch Malt Whisky Society 93.206 The Alpha and Omega – Oysters Glen Scotia 9 Years Old 2014 58.9%

Looking to drink Glen Scotia whisky in Singapore? This sample of Scotch Malt Whisky Society 93.206 The Alpha and Omega – Oysters Glen Scotia 9 Years Old 2014 58.9% was drunk at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: richly sour and creamy but mentholic

Palate: tannic and acidic, juggling a deeply sour mango and pineapple on the palate touched by waxy soursop. Metallic sourness and saltiness that grows into creamy and sour farminess

This is quite a fun one; rather than salty and seafoody as the name implies, it has that Clynelish-esque profile with a touch of coastal influence.
