Review – Glenallachie 10 Years Old 2011 52.1% Bottled for Club Qing

Looking to drink Glenallachie whisky in Singapore? This sample of Glenallachie 10 Years Old 2011 52.1% Bottled for Club Qing was drunk at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: smelly moscatel-ish pungent sherry grape wood

Palate: winey sulphitey rough sherry

A deeply overwhelming sherry impact, but in a pungent sulphite way instead of the cleaner, juicy grape way. Not a personal favourite, but some others more fond of deeper flavours may like this. Quite reminiscent of the Oxhead Secret Orkney 2005 16 Years Old Dram Addicts Series.
