Review – Yamazakura ASAKA Distillery #18151 Ginjo Sake Cask Finish Single Malt Japanese Whisky

Looking to drink Yamazakura Asaka whisky in Singapore? This sample of Yamazakura ASAKA Distillery #18151 Ginjo Sake Cask Finish Single Malt Japanese Whisky was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: super minty, like in a peppermint way with sweet grassy notes

Palate: cucumber on the back of palate, strong peppermint, sweet oak, light spice

Not gonna lie, this was like a gin and tonic with cucumber tonic water in a whisky at cask strength and oaky notes. Truly a fun experimental cask finish that is definitely a worthwhile try.

This is not sponsored and with limited bottles available, it can be bought from Mizunara The Shop at: https://www.mizunaratheshop.sg/collections/asaka-single-malt-japanese-whisky/products/yamazakura-asaka-single-cask-ginjyo-sake-cash-finish
