Review – Wan Ja Shan Distillery Dawu Double Cask Whiskey – Sherry Cask & Cognac Cask

Looking to drink Dawu whisky in Singapore? This sample of Wan Ja Shan Distillery Damu Double Cask Whiskey – Sherry Cask & Cognac Cask was drank at CellarFiesta held at Suntec Convention Center from 12-14 July 2024. CellarFiesta is organized by Cellarbration. This bottle was introduced by Interco-MLE.

Nose: creamy moscatel-ish, dried fruits, raisins, sulphite prunes

Palate: light spicy, amarone-ish, light mentholic grapes,

Surprisingly not a repulsive profile. I personally am not too fond of sulphite notes so this was a welcome one.
