What does Secret Speyside whisky taste like? This Thompson Bros Secret Speyside 24 Years Old 1997 50.3% bottling tastes like:
Nose: deep and rich chewy mentos grape, with vitagen green apple. Very much candied flavours in the most positive, delicious sense
Palate: intense, superbly juicy sourish green apples, dry with a good viney finish
What do we think of this bottle of Secret Speyside whisky?
Aside from the label looking absolutely smashing, this is a fantastically fruity Secret Speyside, possibly Glenlivet, that we brought back from the festival to try back in SG.
