Review – Paul John Single Cask Peated Madeira

Looking to drink Paul John whisky in Singapore? This glass of Paul John Single Cask Peated Madeira whisky done exclusively for SMAC was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830

Nose: strong rich cherry, sweet thick grape, sharp menthol, a touch of sulphite and processed seaweed

Palate: distinct sweet grassy vegetal peat, touch of the grapey sherry floating around

The truly unique Paul John Single Cask that marries sherry with peated flavours. Few other whiskies attempt a peated sherry finish, this one is quite a competitive one, reminding me of a specific Handfilled Longrow.
