Review – Scotch Single Malt Circle Convalmore 22 Years Old 1981 58.5%

Drink Convalmore whisky in Malaysia

Looking to drink Convalmore whisky in Singapore? This sample of Scotch Single Malt Circle Convalmore 22 Years Old 1981 58.5% was drunk during the inaugural Whisky Lah! whisky festival held at The Gasket Alley located at Lot 15, Jalan 13/6, Section 13, 46200, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia on 7 September 2024.

What does Convalmore whisky taste like? This Scotch Single Malt Circle Convalmore 22 Years Old 1981 58.5% bottling tastes like:

Nose: light sharp honey and cheddar/swiss, hint of wax and eraser dust rubber

Palate: sharp and fierce, juicy and thick, an intense dominant wild honey, light and grassy alkaline at the finish

What do we think of this bottle of Convalmore whisky?

A Convalmore that hit like a bolt from the blue – familiar, nostalgic flavours that you would not expect to come in whisky form. This one still keeps the classic Convalmore flavours on the palate, making it one of the best Convalmores that I had at cask strength. This Convalmore was a part of a lost distillery tasting set.

Where can you get Convalmore whisky by the glass in Singapore?

You can buy Convalmore whisky by the dram from The Swan Song, such as the Cadenhead Convalmore-Glenlivet 17 Years Old 1977 65.3%.
