Review – Scotch Malt Whisky Society 78.73 A Maze of Amazement Ben Nevis 9 Years Old 2014 58.8%

Looking to drink Ben Nevis whisky in Singapore? This sample of Scotch Malt Whisky Society 78.73 A Maze of Amazement Ben Nevis 9 Years Old 2014 58.8% was drunk at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: lighter and thinner menthol with an underlying creaminess, fruity sour apples hidden in the nose

Palate: sharp like a punch, inital plasticky palate, which changes into a moderate-full bodied sweet and savoury sour apple and pear peel, rich touch of grapey fruitness alongside deep sugary pear

Amazingly fruity but the plasticky artificial touch to it gives it a mild repulsiveness that dissuades it.
