Review – Old Pulteney 18 OB

Looking to drink Old Pulteney whisky in Singapore? This sample of Old Pulteney 18 OB was drank at CellarFiesta held at Suntec Convention Center from 12-14 July 2024. CellarFiesta is organized by Cellarbration. This bottle was introduced by La Maison du Whisky.

Nose: wheat crackers

Palate: malty bready honeyed

Such clear dominant profiles that fall so far away from the standard Old Pulteney profiles that I am used to! I’m personally very fond of the Old Pulteney 12 and the 15, which is a more distinctly honeyed expression of the Old Pulteney modern bottlings. The 18 just felt waaay too away from home on this one.
