Review – Octomore Edition 07.2 / 208

Looking to drink Bruichladdich whisky in Singapore? This sample of Octomore Edition 07.2 / 208 was sampled during a private Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) event at The Single Cask located at 30 Victoria Street Caldwell House, CHIJMES, #01-25, 187996.

Nose: well barbequed, salty

Palate: rummy, fruity roasted peat notes

Definitely not a conventional Octomore, this older expression came with much more rummy notes than expected. It did have a wine cask finish, but it was not too particularly obvious. By this time, my palate was almost fully shot, but the profile came across almost fully.
