Review – Milwaukee’s Club Selection Heaven Hill 2009 13 Year Bourbon

Looking to drink Heaven Hill whisky in Singapore? This sample of Milwaukee’s Club Selection Heaven Hill 2009 13 Year Bourbon was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. This private bottling was provided by Steve.

Nose: caramel and vanilla

Palate: deeply vanillic with a comforting, soft touch on the palate, the sweetness grows on you and into a grassier sweetness

Classic bourbon profile with a nice affable sweetness, not too violent in terms of the vanillic notes, done for the Japanese market. A standout non-standard bourbon that checks many boxes. Not too complex, well aged, cask strength. Definitely worth a try for the big bourbon fans who are traditionally used to Kentucky Straight Bourbon at 40-46% abv.
