Review – Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still Japanese Whisky 51%

Looking to drink Kanosuke whisky in Singapore? This sample of Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still Japanese Whisky 51% was drunk at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. This bottle was kindly shared by Brandon from Mizunara the Shop.

Nose: sweet caramel bourbon-esque profile, some pineapple and juice

Palate: moderate caramel, light fruits, honeysuckle

Incredibly juicy and the alcohol percentage carries the flavour extremely well. We remarked that this was similar to a bourbon but with more developed fruity flavours and a not too prominent profile.
