Review – Johnnie Walker Blue Label Angel Chen Limited Edition Design

Looking to drink Johnnie Walker whisky in Singapore? This sample of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Angel Chen Limited Edition Design was drunk at a liquor roadshow by The Liquor Shop.

Nose: malt

Palate: light grapey, malty nutty sweet,  light smokey peat

Unimpressive, I’ve always heard good feedback that Johnnie Walker Blue is the best of the lot but after experiencing this, it only confirmed that “smooth” equates to “low in flavour”. A far, far cry from older vintages of the Johnnie Walker Blue Label, such as the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Bottled in Early 1990s Japan Import we have available while stocks last.
