Review – Hellyers Road 17 Slightly Peated Single Cask CONQUÊTE

Looking to drink Hellyers Road whisky in Singapore? This sample of Hellyers Road 17 Slightly Peated Single Cask CONQUÊTE was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830, shared by Benny from Nanyang Whisky. This bottle is available for purchase from La Maison du Whisky

Nose: spiced soy sauce and tiramisu

Palate: rich and thick, candied sweet guava

Benny did preempt us by saying that guava would be on the palate but never did I expect it to actually hit so distinctly. Also, the nose was exceptionally interesting, bringing with it soy sauce which I’ve started to pick up on some of the weirder sherry bottlings, and a creamy coffee tiramisu hint.
