Review – Hanyu Ichiro’s Malt Card Series – The Colored Joker

Looking to drink Hanyu whisky in Singapore? This sample of Hanyu Ichiro’s Malt Card Series – The Colored Joker was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

Nose: sweet clear honey,

Palate: heavy bodied, fierce and thick, but tamely sweet honey, bit of distinct mild smoke balanced against the honey juiciness, light bitter tea leaves

When I saw this and Arun poured it rather nonchalantly for us to try, I did not know that it would have the price tag it had today. This was brought over by a Japanese bar owner who also provided a sample of a 1960s (1964 or 65 if I remember correctly).
