Drink Glenlivet whisky in Singapore

Looking to drink Glenlivet whisky in Singapore? This sample of Glenlivet 12 Years Old An Unblended All Malt Scotch Whisky est. Pre-1970s was drunk at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830.

What does Glenlivet whisky taste like? This Glenlivet 12 Years Old An Unblended All Malt Scotch Whisky est. Pre-1970s bottling tastes like:

Nose: drying soy sauce umami and sweetness, honey nectar, dry old distillate with a touch of floating fleshy mangoes

Palate: lightly spicy green chilli, fleshy mangoes, somewhat bitter tea leaves

What do we think of this bottle of Glenlivet whisky?

A brilliantly developed bottle with minimal old bottle effect that comes across with prominent, although light and mellow, mango notes that characterize the old-style distillate. We certainly would not call this spectacular, unfortunately due to the lower strength, but it carries the flavour profile extremely well. We managed to snag an extra more in-depth tasting of this bottling as someone has forgotten to touch their dram poured for them before they had to move on to their next location! Talk about lucky!

Where can you get Glenlivet whisky by the glass in Singapore?

You can buy Glenlivet whisky by the dram from The Swan Song, such the bottle pictured above or the Elgin Bonding Co. Ltd. William Hunts Glenlivet 1968 50%.
