Nose: Musty oloroso plasticky grape notes
Taste: Complex grapey split between that transitions into dominant cooling menthol
One of the few Glendronachs that I have tried, this 10 year actual does not come across as Oloroso fronted as the others. The 12 year and 15 year Glendronachs have too prominent an Oloroso front although those were much more well developed and complex compared to the 10 year, which is a tad bit young. It makes up for the light one-dimensional ex-bourbonish honey sweetness that is found in the Glendronach 8 year.

Palate: Salty start, malty, slightly peaty with a long malty sweet finish that lingers like Maltesers
