Review – Gerland Armagnac bottled in the 1970s

Looking to drink Gerland Armagnac in Singapore? This glass of Gerland Armagnac bottled in the 1970s was drank at The Swan Song located at 41A Boat Quay, Singapore 049830. This bottle is available by the dram for private tasting with Nakama Spirits. Other armagnac bottlings are also available by the dram at The Swan Song.

Nose: honey raisins, brioche creamy bread crust

Palate: medium bodied, classic grapey armagnac flavour, moderate sweet, lightly minty finish

I’ve been a big fan of Armagnac more than cognac since I tried a cask strength Armagnac by Blackadder International at The Malt Affair Vol. 7. This bottle, obtained from auction, was definitely an interesting bottling with a much creamier nose and deep rich grape flavours.
