Nose: winey grapey sulfites
Taste: mild, musky portish grape, with light spice on the tongue, light menthol burn on tongue aftertaste
For a young whisky at a normal %abv, it does a rather decent presentation of a red wine cask finish, with obvious grapey wine notes and an unoffensive palate. The sulfites from this are however, still on the nose. An interesting experience.

Nose: sharp, sour alcohol, slightly salty
Palate: smoky sherry with a malty sherry finish
