Palate: sweet, artificially fruity mint, tastes like a weak orange tic tac mint
What do we think of this bottle of Aberlour whisky?
This bottle tastes most spectacularly like a mint I ate plenty of times in the past. We suspect that the Bajan Rum Cask Finish, which should be a Barbados Rum, is providing a moderation to the fruitiness in the Aberlour distillate and is making it pivot away from the traditional flavours of modern Aberlour whiskies. An incredibly interesting drink nonetheless.
Where can you get Aberlour whisky by the glass in Singapore?
You can buy Aberlour whisky by the dram from The Swan Song, like the Aberlour A’Bunadh Batch 62 59.9% or the Carn Mor Aberlour 12 Years Old 2011 47.5% Bajan Rum Cask Finish as shown above.
