What does Aberlour whisky taste like? This Aberlour A’Bunadh Batch 62 59.9% bottling tastes
like:
Nose: sharp lactic red apple cider note, oaky vanilla sweetness
Palate: dominantly sweet caramel character, bourbonesque, hidden metallic red grapes
What do we think of this bottle of Aberlour whisky?
Interesting, potent, quite a nice simple dram with a clear character. Missing some of the Aberlour apple character in my honest opinion but it’s still good.
Where can you get Aberlour whisky by the glass in Singapore?
You can buy Aberlour whisky by the dram from The Swan Song, like the Aberlour A’Bunadh Batch 62 59.9% or the Carn Mor Aberlour 12 Years Old 2011 47.5% Bajan Rum Cask Finish as shown above.

Check out this Whiskybase listing of the Aberlour A’Bunadh Batch 62 59.9%, where we rated the bottle 86 points!
A reviewer named District Drams found chocolate and orange notes that I’m really struggling to associate with Aberlour distillates as a whole, and rated the bottle fairly harshly.
That and a fellow by the name of Thomas from a review site called Whisky Saga has dug out a lot of sherried, fruity notes from the bottle.

Clearly the Aberlour A’Bunadh Batch 62 is quite a divisive drink!
